Bush Arrested in 1986 in Texas?

Sat Jun 11, 2005 at 04:16:38 PM PDT

So, check this out at RadarOnline:

http://www.radarmagazine.com/fresh-intelligence/2005/05/27/index.php

I suspect they are forgeries, but who knows?

According to these documents, a George W. Bush (Jr.) was arrested, indicted, and pled no contest to "unlawful practice of medicine", which is awfully vague.

There's more:

Idea for Larry Flynt

Wed Mar 03, 2004 at 07:12:29 PM PDT

The Monkey has an Idea for Larry Flynt:

*ID the real tight BattleGround states in November Elections.
*Rent 1000 vans.
*Staff them with Really Hot Chicks (and Guys, sure) in Bikinis.
* Drive people to the Polls, then to Larry Flynt's Excellent Karry Rally & BBQ afterwards.

Was Bush KICKED OUT of Guard?

Sun Feb 15, 2004 at 03:10:20 AM PDT

As a lark, because I know I'm no Internet slueth (more of a mudraker), I looked at the few documents posted at USA Today.

I noticed that in the 2000 docs that were released (presumably in 2000, eh?), there was a line in his service record file that was redacted.

On page 16 of 25:

"[BIG BLACK LINE] transferred to ARPC (ORS), 3800 York Street, Denver CO 80205 effective 2 October 1973 (DOS TexANG 1 Oct 1973)."

In the newly released 2004 set of docs (PDF), the same line is NOT redacted, which I found curious.

On page 5/19:

HD TR TexANG per ANGR 36-05, SO ANG-A 158, State of Texas AG, Dept, Austin, Tx and transfered to...
(end of previous redaction).

I thought this was interesting.

Because I found this:

TANG Regulation 36-05 states in part:

  1. Purpose. National Guard officer personnel policies focus on attaining and maintaining military leadership which directly correlates with achieving a combat ready, professional and dynamic force. It is essential that personnel policies pertaining to the Texas National Guard provide for a viable mobilization capability, promotion opportunity and grade vitality. This regulation establishes the necessary policy and procedures to insure this goal by providing authority for administrative discharge of officers when and where necessary.
  2. Policy. Officers who are substandard in performance of duty or conduct, deficient in character, lacking in professional qualifications or status, or otherwise unsuited for continued military service are not to be retained in the Texas National Guard. Presence of one or more of these conditions will be sufficient basis for the administrative discharge of an officer from the Texas National Guard. Additionally, an officer of the Texas National Guard may be administratively discharged from his appointment for one or more of the following reasons or conditions. [conditions not relevant to request]
The bold emphasis is mine.

I'm not reading too much into this, but what does it mean? Could any NG members or experts chime in with what they think it means?

I just thought it was interesting because it appears to say the Bush got an HD but was kicked out via this administrative rule.

Why would they redact it in 2000, when it said "HD", but release it in 2004? That makes no sense to me...

But is that what is says? Curious and Curiouser...

Drudge: Cheney, Scalia Used AFII for Hunting Trip

Thu Feb 05, 2004 at 02:35:44 AM PDT

Drudge is reporting that Chaney and Scalia used a small plane as Air Force 2 on a private duck hunting trip:

WMD & Honor

Sat Jan 24, 2004 at 02:30:17 AM PDT

I've been reading the C.S. Forester Hornblower novels lately. They're good yarns, nice escapist stuff. Forester portrays Hornblower, a British Naval Officer, as a complex man, with a very well defined sense of honor.

Honor is a concept we don't really have a lot of truck with these days, here in the US. Oh, people talk about it, but what do they really mean?

With the resignation of David Kay, and his subsequent revelations to the press, that there aren't any WMD to be found in Iraq. I've been thinking a lot about honor, and what it means.

Prediction: Saddam to be Whacked

Wed Dec 17, 2003 at 01:07:34 PM PDT

I have a feeling Saddam won't make it to trial.

I think he's going to:

A. "Suicide"
B. Killed by another inmate.
C. Killed by an ambush
D. Death by disease

Just my gut feeling.

No way does the US want him tried in open court.

Drudge Shocker! MoveOn.org using FOREIGN cash

Mon Dec 15, 2003 at 07:02:22 PM PDT

Frustrated with the lack of domestic support, left-leaning website moveon.org has apparently been reaching beyond American borders to generate cash revenue over the Internet!

The provocative international fundraising strategy threatens to embroil the presidential candidacies of General Wesley Clark and former Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Both men are named on international fundraising websites suggesting donations to moveon.org.

Moveon.org, which has been running ads critical of the Bush Administration, has named an "International Campaigns Director."

It is not clear how much money has been raised from foreign sources, but political websites from London to Portugal have been directing their citizens to stop the American president George Bush by donating to moveon.org.

Novak Sez: Dean is Crazy for Crazy Talk

Thu Dec 11, 2003 at 02:21:23 PM PDT

Bob Novak says Dean is nuts for even mentioning the rumor that the White House was warned 911 was in the works.

He might want to (I'm sure he has, actually) read this:

http://www.dailytelegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2001/09/16/wcia16.xml

or any number of stories about other warnings published in mainstream publications in the months following 911.

I'm glad he brought it up. Dean should say "Ask the President, don't ask me. I wansn't the one who was apparently warned about a massive terrorist strike on US soil."

Iraqi Regime War Crimes Trials

Wed Dec 10, 2003 at 02:00:57 PM PDT

They're going to have War Crimes Trials in Iraq.

Yay! About time they tried those butchers...

I hope justice is done for the Iraqi families who suffered under Saddam.

To that End, I propose a list of witnesses they can call:

Ronald Wilson Reagan.
Donald Rumsfeld.
CIA Directors 1975-1991.
Dick Cheney.
George Herbert Walker Bush.

These individuals might be able to shed some light on how exactly those war crimes were perpetrated, and who was providing their leader with the weapons used to oppress them.

Iraq War Memorial

Thu Nov 13, 2003 at 12:46:32 AM PDT

Since the War is over, maybe we should turn our attention from the ongoing mess of the Peace, and focus on something near and dear to every Red-Blooded American's heart, a good, old-fashioned War Memorial.

What should the Iraq War Memorial look like? Where should it be? Should it be heroic, with maybe a big bronze M1A1 tank on the Washington Mall, or tragic, with the names and faces of the soldiers killed in the War.

What? The war's over, or hadn't you heard?

Any Returning Iraq Veterans Around?

Sun Nov 09, 2003 at 03:38:18 PM PDT

Hey gang! Anyone out there who has recently returned from Iraq? Or is currently serving in Iraq?

We're obviously pretty generally unsupportive of this war, but I for one would love to hear from any returning Guard or active duty soldiers who feel like sharing.

I value and respect your service. I just don't support what your service has been in service of.

Bay of Pigs, Bush Sr. and the Barbara J.

Fri Nov 07, 2003 at 01:26:37 PM PDT

Get out your tinfoil hats!

Bush has long been rumored to have been working for, with, or in the CIA during the Bay of Pigs.

Was he?

The evidence is pretty vague, but there are some choice nuggets out there. The most interesting I find is that the Barbara J. was one of the ships used in the operation.

J. is Barbara Bush's middle initial.

US Loses Iraq War, Bush Wins in Landslide

Tue Nov 04, 2003 at 02:23:17 PM PDT

The US has lost the War in Iraq and is leaving the country.

That's the reality of the situation. We're leaving. It's not apparent from the rhetoric, but the Administrations and CPA rhetoric makes it all too clear.

The US has lost and is bugging out. But, Bush can win with this strategy, and win in a landslide.

Bush Earpieces

Wed Oct 29, 2003 at 07:35:59 AM PDT

I distinctly remember during one of the Bush/Gore debates seeing a flesh-colored earplug in Bush's ear.

My question is: Does anyone else remember or have video of said event?
